press release, November 2002 Scimcon appoints Emma Sutherland as scientific information management consultant Scientific information management consultancy Scimcon has appointed Emma Sutherland (28) as a consultant. In her new role at Scimcon Emma will advise Scimcon’s clients on effective information management and IS (Information Systems) strategy. Clients will include companies in the pharmaceutical, biotech and petrochemical industries across Europe and the USA.
Emma, from Newmarket, joins Scimcon from Bayer Diagnostics, where she
provided consultancy to customers in the MERA (Middle East, Eastern
Europe, Russia and Africa) region. As part of this role she advised
clients on their diagnostic and IS systems, covering installation,
training and technical support processes. Emma was also involved
with marketing activities, including several product launches.
Before starting her career Emma gained a BSc (Hons) in Earth Sciences
from Anglia University, Cambridge and whilst working at Bayer she also
completed a HNC in Medical Laboratory Sciences.
Emma comments on joining Scimcon:
