press release, September 2002 Biotech heavyweights to hit it off in San Diego Major players from the biotech industry will converge at the upcoming San Diego Biotechnology Discussion Group (SDBDG) event. It will be an ideal opportunity to share information about exciting new businesses, technologies and to discuss the topics which affect those working in the biotechnology sector. SDBDG is hosting the event on September 25th at Elan Pharmaceuticals headquarters in Sorrento Valley. This is one of the groups regular bi-monthly meetings which bring together the major players from the biotechnology industry based in the San Diego area.
Scientific management consultancy Scimcon, will sponsor the event which
will start at 5.30pm with a social hour. Commercial director of Scimcon,
Geoff Parker will make a presentation to the group at 6.30pm which will
focus on some of the best approaches to data and knowledge management.
The meeting will culminate with a feature presentation from San Diego
based biotech company, Senomyx.
